I think this song is a fabulous Motown tribute, but the addition of ASL and a charismatic signer makes is that much more enjoyable.

(Also, I think I need that haircut!)

Update: Someone has just drawn my attention at an actual ASL comedian doing a translation of “Ice Ice Baby”.

Ravens playing in the snow

I know, I know, I haven’t written anything of substance in far too long. But look! Ravens playing in the snow!

Every Christmas Eve, this is broadcast live from King’s College in Cambridge. I would just about kill to be there and hear it in person, but you have to queue for about 24 hours. (Apparently the waiting line has a culture unto itself, where people see each other every year and at no other time.)

The lessons are quaint, but the carols are so beautiful that they bring tears to my eyes. Listen here.

It gets better.

It has a knife, spoon, fork, a pick/spike, something they call a spatula, and something that I would use to clean under my nails. And it’s pretty!

Francis has a new blog! He’s much better at blogging than I. Check it out here!
